You will know during practice. In practice you will be able to do all the drills on both sides of the ball and improve in both, don't worry. I say Don't play both, concentrate on 1 only. Starting both ways is just a problem because you are not as intense on both sides like you would be only on Defense lets say. I was very good at Full Back, and pretty good at Middle linebacker in High School. I naturally like Defense better and decided to start concentrating only on Linebacker and stopped starting at full back. I became a 2 time ALL-Area first team at Middle linebacker... You will know what side of the ball you want to be on.........be patient....PS. the 2 way starters on my team were always exhausted in the 4th qtr and didn't really produce much at the end of the game when it mattered the most.....

Play both, it's high school football. I played WR and CB on my varsity team. I also played some safety as well. You should play as mush as possible in high school, playing at both positions will give you a better chance to play at the next level. Get on the field as much as possible.

You could try and play both, but if not, look at who else is on the team in those positions, and see where you are needed more.

nothing wrong with playing corner...its not for everyone and good corners are sought after and get paid well in todays market...4.5 is not too bad, but if you takle well you might end up playing center field (safety)...whatever you do, work hard and remember you only have this chance to be young, dont look back and say 'I should have' when it comes to your work ethic...good luck!

Well, you are probably lying about your 40 time and you probably can't do any of the other things well either. If you could you wouldn't be asking this question on yahoo. Your coaches would decide.
I say quit the football team and focus on your studies.
