Mexican's know their food and how to make it, but the people at Taco Bell in the US and Canada don't really know how to make a taco like those in Mexico.

Taco Bell is cheap fast food and not very good. Why would any self respecting Mexican eat there? Taco Bell would have no customers in Mexico.

Probably because Mexico cooks the real deal. Taco Bell would probably be an insult to their country.

ecause an American founded Taco bell, someone named (i forget his first name) Bell. Hence Taco Bell, and he simply decided to not expand it into South/Central America, most likely because of the lack of intrest.

Probably because the stuff that is home cooked at home and at restaurants in Mexico. We can't get the good stuff up here in the US and Canada. Its also cheap enough to buy fresh rather than fast food.
