I do that too (although not myspace.) It is horrible. Plus, I have so many extracurricular activities. Sometimes I tell myself "well, ya know, I'm a year ahead of everyone else, chill," but colleges won't care whether or not you skipped a grade of math and science if you're getting a C in Chem. SO REMEMBER THAT. Also, don't take Chem AP if Chem AP is offered as only one year, unless you hear the program at your school is easy. But, somewhat, it's a side-effect of other things, which is why I'm going to go see a psychiatrist (I can't stand therapists, because honestly I'm too smart for therapists lol@that.)

ANYWAYS.

Just delete your myspace account. C: Teenagers are so annoying on myspace anyways. WITH THEIR PRETTY LAYOUTS, AND "hartxcore lolz"

OH. Also one thing that used to work REALLY well with me. I don't know why I don't do it anymore. I used to make myself work maybe 15-20 minutes nonstop, and then give me 5-10 minutes break on the internet as a reward. It worked so well. It was amazing, I couldn't believe that I was doing my work. Haha.

I understand! I'm 30+, going to the local vocational school, and I have homework I was so eager to get done when I got off work... and here I sit, answering questions on Yahoo Answers.

A very wise woman once said, "Make a decision. Then manage the decision." It took me a while to figure out what she meant, so here's an example.
I'm married. When I got married, I made the decision that my marriage would be a success. There's the decision...
Here's the managing part- Because it's a given that my marriage will succeed, I always act like it will- I don't flirt with other men. I may visit with my co-worker or classmate, I may work on a project with them, but I don't flirt.
I don't think about kissing other men, or any other kind of physical intimacy. I may touch another man on the arm when I'm talking to him, or to get his attention so I can give him work/school related information.
I may "enjoy the scenery" once in a while, but I definitely don't go looking for "scenery"!!

So the question you have before you now is- "What decision can I make that will help me get my homework done first, before I play?"

And with that, I'm going to go get my flash drive and go do those horrible typing drills- UGH!!... maybe just one more question... NO- I AM a good student who does her homework-- EVERY night!!!

shut down the computer, diassemble it so you cant use it nemore.
and then get dressed in sweats and go for a run.
then hit the showers and go to the mall.
if its a school day go for a run and then take a shower and then do ur homework AWAY from the computer.

Let being on myspace be a reward for after you do your homework.

Imagine that you are bed ridden with terminal cancer. You will surely appreciate that you still can move and do something.
