Try Cover Girl Trueblend. You don't want to wear a lot of foundation if you have good clear skin. Trueblend can be matched to your skin tone, (if you go to a store with a cosmetics counter that employs a cosmetologist, they will help you match your own skin tone) and you don't have to put it on your whole face. You can just put it on the area where the blemish is and blend it into your skin. It will cover the spot and doesn't show because it matches your natural skin tone. It is also available at Wal-mart for around $5 dollars, but I find it stays on longer than the Almay.
I use Trueblend to cover blemishes all the time and it works great.

The best thing my mom and I ever discovered was Bare Minearals! It's a bit pricey but lasts forever! The best part is it's entirely minerals! It actualy helps to clear your skin! The starter kit comes with all of the brushes you will ever need for the product! The product line, Bare Essentials, also has many blushes and eyeshadows of the same strictly mineral quality! I would suggest investing the $60 for the starter kit for about 3 months of use! After that each foundation powder is about double the size! if your 18 it's sure worth it!
Here is the link to the foundation starter kit and the link to the Bare Essentails line!

Since your skin is clear besides the occasional pimple, you don't need foundation. Just get a concealer. You can find them everywhere at just about every store, and they don't cost much. Foundation might break you out more since it usually clogs the pores. To find your color, test it on the back of your hand.

First I would narrow it down to what type of skin you have. Oily, dry, normal, whatever. Then go wherever you want to buy some, and look at the different types, b/c there's different ones for everything you can imagine. Narrow down to a few shades that you tihnk you match, and I usually open it and put a dot on my hand, just to see. (but you're not supposed to do that.. shhh) And i also recommend if you're going to wear foundation, get matching powder to put on over it.

If you dont wanna spend too much money on it, you can just go to a drug store or Walmart or something. They usually have things you can math up your skin tone with. Go for like Neutrogena or Loreal or something. Because some other cheap brands don't work very well. If there's a sample try it on.

go to a department store (ie dillards/macys)
head to the clinique counter for foundation. The sales lady will match your color. It costs about 18 dollars and will last you months. You will also need a sponge to apply it.
my email is mgarrison01@hotmail.com if you have any questions

You should try Almay SmartShade Make-up. It's light and it will match your skin tone automatically. You can get it at Wal-Mart for under $10.

You're so young you need only light foundation. Go to the bodyshop and ask them to give you a makeover, to show you your best colours and products.

If you have clear skin, you don't need foundation. If you get a blemish, use a concealer.
