you have to let the guy decide. if you try to go after him he won't like it and would probably rather have the other girl. a big girl myth is that we should jump after guys we like. boy is that wrong!! we have to wait for the guys to make the move. if they're worthy of you then they will. only if they're cowards or jerks will they let the girls come after them.

WAIT FOR HIM TO MAKE THE MOVE. if you do you'll drive him away. and he's probably not so great that you have to split up you're friendship. it's probably just a crush that'll pass and if not, too bad. there's tons of guys out there.

If he is trying to talk to both of you or he likes both of you, I think you should stay away from him because he can cause a lot of mess between you and your friend. If he likes you and not her, you should talk to her about the situation and if she understands then you should go for it. But don't allow this guy to interrupt the relationship that you two have because it might result in you loosing a friend over some guy which they all come and go. As for the kiss part, you might need to tell your friend what is up ASAP because if you two do kiss and she See's it, there is no telling what she may do. If you are that close, you should be able to talk about boys and this guy in particular.

One thing though is that your friendship with each other will probably outlast either one of you with him...unless you end up fighting over him and screwing it up. He might puff up a little at first thinking he has some sort of magic powers but in the end he won't find it cool that you would fight over him.

I would let it ride personally and watch for a few weeks, if nothing materializes between the guy and your friend, then it is probably ok to go for it.

Well, be honest, Its hard and not always the best solution. But if you really really really like him, and its for a logical reason. Not for some stupid reason like he has dreamy eyes and on the football team. Then tell your friend, put down some terms if need be. Tell her that you like him too and that you want to be friends but your feelings won't go away and you would like to go out or date him. From there its all how your friend reacts.

same thing has happened to me..
it almost feels like you are losing connection with ur bff or that guy u like. maybe have a talk with you bff and dont let your friend ship break apart if you do you will regret it and that guy isnt going to be your love forever only if you marry him though. but just do what your heart says i hope it works out and if you have any questions go look at my email.
