OMG yes! I was living alone on my own for the first time, and decided to make sweet and sour meatballs, like I'd seen my older sister do a few times. I knew the sauce was a weird mix of Heinz sauce and grape jelly, which surprisingly, turned out fine. But the meatballs were another story. I knew I needed the hamburger and bread crumbs, but I couldn't remember what held them together. (I now know it was egg.) I figured, however, that it was something mushy, so I substituted mayo... It was the most disgusting thing I ever tasted! These days, I let others do the cooking. ;-)

Oh Yeah total disaster. I made a cake and it went horribly wrong. I microwaved the strawberry's so they would mix better but forgot to take the foil off the lid which caught on fire in the microwave. Than I forgot to add an ingredient, and cooked the caked to long. And right after it came out I put the frosting on which completely melted off. Than came the birthday candles which melted inches into the cake. The whole thing was a mess and tasted awful. We ended up throwing it away after a big laugh.

Yes. I tried to make Rice A Roni and forgot to add the water (that was about 30 years ago).
