There are a lot of things that can change your cycle. Being ill, changing your eating habits (for better or for worse), body chemistry, etc. As long as you are getting your period, I wouldn't be too concerned about an occassional change in your monthly time.

Yes! It can take several years for your body to "regulate" itself so that your periods occur on a regular monthly schedule. (In the meantime, make sure you keep at least a mini-pad in your purse so that you have something with you at all times just in case!)

yes. It takes about a year for you periods to even out and become regular. if you have had periods for over a year, it wouldnt hurt to go see a gyn.

actually, yes.


i'm 15 and that just happened to me last month.


anything can throw off your period such as...

- stress
- illness
- exercise

i wouldn't worry about it. i had salmonella poisoning and my system is still out of wack.

but if the problem continues and you're worried about it, go see a doctor.
