No they dont. Colleges usually start looking at your grades when you get to 10th grade.

Omar is right; they don't have the time, resources, or statistical models to be able to use elementary or jr. high school grades. The last two years of high school count more than anything. The only thing that bears any significance from 9th or 10th grade would be extracurricular activities, such as volunteer work, sports, clubs, etc. Earlier years would be looked at if there were extreme differences, like a really bad student that excelled in the last two years or one who got great grades all the way through, but for the average student, the last two years is what really counts.

Grades from Elementary school are not important in that circumstance but for college scholarships, high schools will go back to grades in Elementary School when they have students competing with nearly the same GPA. I know because it happens here in our area. When one of our kids graduated from high school, at the top of the class, school officials reviewed the grades for him and 2 others who were competing for a 4 year scholarship with fees paid. They ended up going back to the 5th grade for Math and Science Grades.

Your grades in elementary school are not going to have the slightest bearing on your admission to college. Colleges typically look at your record from 9th grade upwards.

Colleges don't really care whether or not you failed at fingerpainting in 2nd grade or that you got a really good grade on your book report about The Witches. Pretty sure that the only grades they see are those that are on your high school transcript, since that's what your school has to send them.

They do not even look at junior high, only highschool. They focus more on the latter years of higschool as well. For instance a 3.5 your sophomore year is more impressive than a 3.5 your freshman year. They also like to see that you are improving with each year.
