That just about every sitcom went to Hawaii? The Brady bunch, The Jeffersons, Full house, Step by step. Did I miss any other ones??

Hawaii was a long way away, very different from today. Exciting. Also almost empty compared to today with all the housing growth. Exotic - is the word I was looking for.

hilarious observation. I guess back then Hawaii was considered an exotic location. I am sure the actors didn't mind.
