Is it wrong to answer a question?

with a question?
For example: Question......Describe your room with one word.
Answer.........is "loveshack" one word

No. In your example you're actually answering the question but in the form of a question. Sometimes rhetorical questions are also appropriate to make your point.

Nah, I don't think so, as long as it's not a violation, but then again violations are stupid so yeah.

No - some questions need more detail.
