My friend gave me a toshiba gigabeat F40 mp3 player. I only have the USB cord. When i plug it in, I am able to delete the pictures but can't seem to get the music and files off of it. I want my own stuff on it, does anyone know how I can do that without the right software? I'm sure there's a way, but I'm not very good at this. thanks for your help.

Actually, its real easy! Just call Toshiba at 800-631-3811, M-F 8a-7p CST. You'll need your model # and serial #. They say its a free CD too!
Also, check out their site at: http://www.giga-style.com/

The site will also let you download the owners manual so you can see what you need to get still!
