This is a baby book moment. You now can say I remember your first nap. Marking this down can be fun. Like when she is playing Hockey at 2am when you are trying to sleep. Or you are eating dinner and she kicks your bladder and you have to make a mad dash to the restroom with no warning to anyone.
Like others have said she is a sleep. Nothing more nothing less.
Congrats Hun

Babies move lots sometimes...and sometimes very little. I've been pregnant four times and none have been the same. I'm betting she's just found a really comfy position in there and is resting. Relax and enjoy it while it lasts! lol
Never think that you are "fussing over nothing" if you ever have a feeling that something isn't right, this is your intuition kicking in. Don't be afraid to call your doc and ask. You're paying him LOTS to care for you and that baby!
Best of luck :)

OMG I will be 23 weeks monday and I'm a first timer! As I right this big head little boy is beating me up and I'm like "hey Stop It" lol
Anyway don't worry about it when I can't feel him kick as hard. As long as when I lay down at night he kicks the crap out of me and when I wake up he kicks the crap out of me I'm fine. That makes me feel like everything is fine. I also have a baby monitor so I can hear him in there kicking. I also play loud music then he really starts having fun!!

Babies do have regular periods of sleep and wakefulness just as you do. If you are concerned, have a glass of juice and something sweet. Lay down on your back. If you do not feel a movement within 10 minutes call your doctor. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about but better safe than sorry and they will be able to give you the assurance you need.

first timers usually worry more than someone who has been been pregnant more than once!! dont worry though. do what is called a kick count. you need to get somewhere comfortable where you wont be disturbed and can pay attention to the baby moving about. my doctor told me my 1st and 2nd pregnancies to do this. for an hour, count the babies kicks. if you feel 10 good kicks in an hour, generally everything is ok with the baby. if u dont feel at least 10 good kicks in an hour, call the doctor and let him/her know u done a kick count and see what your doctor tells you. i hope this helps!!

They say the rockin from u walkin puts the baby to sleep. once u reach a certain week (i dun remember what wk it was it was i think 7m) the dr will have u count the movements. 10 kicks an hour..is good.

I know how you feel, my son is doing the same thing (I'm 21 weeks pregnant). It's okay if the baby is really active at one point and not so much at a different time. It could be that you're noticing the waking and sleeping cycles that the baby has. Strong movements when she's awake...softer when she's sleeping.

My sister and i are both 22 weeks and i feel her move a lot. i worry sometimes when i don't feel her move for so many hours, but its completely normal. she's just using her reflexes. when u get further along she'll kick all the time and at wrong times (like when ur trying to sleep) and it will get annoying. They say a fetus sleeps as much as a newborn, so she will sleep a lot. think about it, what else is there for her to do. this is both my sisters and i's second child and i can assure you its perfectly normal

Babies sleep just like us, they have quiet time, and play time. I wouldnt worry, I think you shouldnt worry unless you notice no movement for 24 hrs. It is normal to have a slow time. My baby is most active at 530am, and 10am, and dinner time. So if I didnt feel it at one of those times then I might worry, and pay more attention at the next "busy" time. Keep an eye on it, but dont stress out. Congratulations on the baby!

I under no circumstances have been given the rigors at 22wks, yet now at 30wks i'm getting them lots and definite that's the infant. it feels like a bruise or my skin stretching, yet when I positioned my hand on that spot and push or rub it a splash it particularly is often very puzzling and then my infant the two strikes or kicks me and then the little bump is long gone. in spite of the actuality that it hurts a splash I nevertheless like it b/c i understand i'm touching my infant while i think that little bump. Congrats :)
