I keep checking up on my guinea pig Maija and she is coming out of her igloo to eat, get a drink of water and come near the opening of the cage . When she jumped from my arms it wasnt far but im thinking it scared and hurt her for the first couple minutes. my carpeted floor might have helped her from hurting herself more. she is limping though. im still going to call around for a vet to get it checked out though.

Wait a day to see if she is still limping. Most likely she isn't badly hurt. My daughter was always dropping her hamster (or it escaped and jumped from the shelf the cage was on). It was never injured and didn't even have a carpet to land on.

you should definitely take her to the vet considering how fragile their bone structure is... if she's limping, there is DEFINITELY something hurt or sore. it can be just soreness from the carpet, or something actually hurt, so take her to the vet!! feel better Majia!
