Not this year. He is playing great but there is no real supporting players. They need some good role players as well as another all star in his team. As far as I can see this season, he is the only player that can carry the Cavs and don't tell me Ilgauskas was an all star. He is not this season as he couldn't even play 30 minutes a game consistently. James also need to learn to trust his teammate. It is not one on five every time down the floor!

Doesn't seem like anytime soon! Lebron looks to be headed in KG territory. I don't expect the Cavs to miss the playoffs in the East, but they should be in the 40-49 win range for the next couple of years.
This team should be totally restructured though. Lebron has no consistant all-star type of teammate and the rest of the team and style of play seems to be a bit dated. Think about it, look at the players on the Cavs roster and now compare them to contenders like the Pistons, Mavericks, Suns, Spurs, Jazz or Rockets. They can't compete with any of these teams. Even when comparing them to the Raptors, Magic, and Bulls they seem a bit overmatched. Those teams all seem to be getting younger, faster, and better, while the Cavs seem to be getting older, slower, and worse.
Hughes, Gooden, IIIguaskas, Marshall and Snow are all playing below their salaries which makes them untradeable. I don't think they're cap situation is all that bad so they may be able to sign someone solid within the next couple of years, but other than that all they can hope that this team finds a way to play together better or stumble upon some good picks in the draft. Or a new coach maybe?

he will win when he gets a good sidekick.
like when Kobe had Shaq and same with Wade, they won it together. But right now all he has is larry hughes who doesn't really do much. when they can pick up a good pg they might just have a chance to win, so that way LeBron doesn't have the ball in his hands all game
I'm going to guess in like 3 years

I don't think he will ever win a championship with a team that is as poor as the Cavs are right now.
He will have to get some better support to win one anytime soon.
B.T.W. Single players don't win championships, TEAMS DO!
Usually the teams that win championships are teams with "role players" and not necessarily "superstars".

He will win when he gets help. Either they bring somebody in or he demands a trade and joins with someone else. The same way with MJ. He didnt start winning till Pippen got there to give him HELP. Lebron James needs HELP.

within two years of leaving the Cavs... or, within 3 years of the Cavs signing another superstar level player (provided they dump their current coach)...
