Many people will tell you about 4 times but the FBI can still get stuff out.

My suggestion: a hammer + your hard drive + a trash bag.

It's much better just to buy a new one.

I think the word you're looking for is "formatting" not reboot. Rebooting doesn't delete files on your computer. If you meant formatting, then i believe 7 formates leaves no trace behind.

You really don't have to reboot to delete files. Go to start button, then click on all programs, click on accessories, then click on disk cleanup and a pop up window will appear and when that stops loading all your files and programs on it another window will appear and you click on ok, then click on yes and the disk cleanup will clean everything from your temp files to compressing older files.

If you have incriminating evidence on it-I suggest you burn it-preferably with an accelerant or even better- Industrial Grade hydrochloric acid. When you're done -smash it into tiny pieces and flush it down a public toilet.
