If you have a house with high insulation, double/triple-pane windows, closed attic, energy-efficient furnace, etc..... you also need ventilation or all the moisture stays inside. You can buy dehumidifiers, install a vent fan or get someone qualified to install proper venting and circulation of air throughout the house. To start with do what the firefighters do - use big fans at the entrance and one at the exit blowing out.

Sounds odd for Sask. But I would say install a ventilateing fan similar to a bathroom fan, It can be controlled by a switch that reads the humidity and vent it when the humidity reaches the level you have the dial set to..If you are talking about the attic you need to install vents at both ends of the house so the humidity can be drawn out naturally..If its the basement again ventilation is the answer. But the most important question is what or where is the humidity coming from or what is the cause if you solve this your problem will go away

You can go to most home improvment stores and buy dehumidifiers and they will take the humidity out of the air. All you have to do is plug them up, and check them once and a while to dump out the gathered water.

If you've got high humidity in your house in dry Saskatchewan, you've got something weird going on and probably need to have that professionally checked out.
The easy answer though is to install a dehumidifier.
