I'd buy a pair of jeans, maybe a few pairs of capris/shorts, get a few comfy cotton t-shirts & tanks, also skirts are a good option. I had a few dresses but didn't get much wear out of them, I had my son in May & daughter in Feb. so it wasn't that hot. I must say that you will want to wear as little as possible if you are due in the summer, I wore shorts & tanks in April when I was pregnant with my son. I was always hot even though it was spring & I lived in Illinois. Sundresses would be great! Old Navy has some adorable one's- makes me want to have another baby they are so cute :) Congratulations!

I love the sundresses, just make sure to try them on cuz some of them you get will come up in the frnt and be lopsided whenever your belly gets bigger. Jeans & stretchy tanks are the staple piece though, wore them all the time. Don't get a whole bunch of things though, cuz you won't need them afterwards until your next one, if you plan to have more. But the pants witha simple band at the top instead of the panel and the tanks you can wear for while afterwards...Just a little helpful advice.

Sundresses are a great option! Just be sure to stick to cotton when at all possible. Not only does it breathe really well but it is less irritating to your skin. The last two - three months of my pregnancy, I couldn't wear anything synthetic because it made me itch uncontrollably. Cotton was the only thing I could stand.

You should buy cotton clothing, and make sure it is very lightweight and doesn't hug you. It is going to be a very hot, very miserable summer come July and August, but just remember, the payoff is awesome. A new little you to take care of and love with all your heart. Good Luck and congratulations!

Sundresses are nice but if you want to breastfeed you won't be able to wear them after the baby is born unless you want to expose your whole body when you nurse.
I like stretchy capris/gaucho pants. They will be wear-able after the birth and comfy.

buy only cotton clothes, they are very relaxing and comfortable. Not to wear synthethic clothes as during pregnancy u feel more hot as usual times. Your body is 10 times nore hot during this time.

don't forget a bathing suit! You will definitely want to swim as much as you can, and a regular suit just won't cut it, unless you wear a bikini.
