Um, I hate to say it, but I think he told you he would get it done so you'd stick around. Now he has you, he doesn't have to do it. If you don't have children and you want them badly you will begin to resent him later. I would guess he has no intention of getting the reversal. Maybe try giving him an ultimatum, he either gets it done (which isn't 100% always reversable, you know), or you find someone you can have kids with. Kids trump spouses! If I had to choose between a life with my husband but wihout knowing my daughter or a life with my daughter without my husband, I'd be looking for a nice 2 bedroom for us girls to live in!

If it's something you can't get him to talk about or even think about, maybe you could see a marriage and family counselor. Having kids is a huge thing that can make or break a relationship. When you got married, was it duscussed? Or if he's had bad relationships with his own kids, he might be wary with having anymore. These are just some ideas, but it looks like you guys have some serious issues that need to be resolved.

He had a vasectomy for a reason...can you figure out what that reason might have been? You married a man who doesn't want anymore children. You should have thought about that BEFORE you got married. You shouldn't BE confused, he had the vasectomy prior to you marriage, if you wanted children you shouldn't have married him. Now you're complaining that he doesn't want any children? You have no right to complain.

You want children he doesn't. You want to be around your family and he doesn't. Your clock is ticking and his is not. Don't leave all the important decisions to him. You want a child.....and the sooner for you the better. He can't be forced into parenthood. A child should be welcomed by both parents. You need to find a willing partner.
Good Luck.

Trust me, if he really wanted to have children, he'd be calling the doctor to make the appointment for himself.

there might be a good reason why he got this vasectomy and the fact that you can't have kids by him may be a blessing
