Are the movies in the correct format for PSP?

If not try converting them, there is some free software to do this.

DVD's on PSP

There are psp conversation softwares (xcopy9 $29)that will allow you to copy dvd's to the psp. The dvd's must not be copy protected. If they are you must download additional software from internet sites (boooya.com) .

Video downloads
Playstation Portable needs MP4 format not ".mpeg". In order to play it on your PSP. Right click the file and go to properties and change the name to MAQ***** (asterisks are actually numbers from 0-9. You can choose the numbers you want… example MAQ00001, MAQ00002, MAQ23456!) Save in the mp_root folder under 101ANV01.

Too much work..... It's simple.
1. Go to download.com and find a psp video converter (doesn't matter which)
2. Convert to MP4 format
3. Save or Copy it to the VIDEO folder on your psp.

My converter is CinemaForgeLite1, works great if you wanna check it out. Comes with a wizard and easy to follow steps. And also check the memory to see if its full.
