WWE officials have been in contact with Chris Jericho in hopes of a return around September. Nothing has been confirmed at this point but if a deal is reached he will most likely appear on the RAW brand.
It should also be noted that Dixie Carter is interested in signing him to TNA Wrestling.

WWE and TNA are currently in a bidding war over him. I somewhat expect Chris to choose TNA, because of the lighter schedule and because he lives in Florida and wouldn't have to travel much.

I would be surprised to see him back at WWE. TNA offers much more freedom and a less strenuous schedule.
