Anorexic. And I'm not. And now teachers and people I've never talked to are messaging me and talking to me and harassing me for being anorexic. Its just terrible what would you do to deal with it if you were in my situation?

I sort of look anorexic however I don't eat infront of people unless I'm with my close friends I'm vegan and I didn't do anything to anyone. Ah Why would people say that. I don't know what it is.

I would step back and evaluate why people think this of you. Are you underweight? Do you eat around people? Do you worry about your weight alot when people are around? Do you ever joke around saying that your too fat around your friends?

Some people could very easily misconstruct this for something it is not.

I would let everyone know that you are not anorexic, and tell them how it feels that they are accusing you of such a thing.

You may also want to try to catch yourself in doing things that may mislead them - like not complaining about weight, or being happy that you gained that extra pound.

Maybe you would want to talk to them about it while you eat so they can see that you are in fact eating and that there is nothing to worry about.

Ask your doctor where your weight falls on the graph he has of heights and weights. If you are pathetically skinny, he will tell you. If you are anorexic, usually you are beyond being just thin - you are approaching skeletal. Saying you are a vegan doesn't mean you aren't anorexic. You may be in denial that you are almost skeletal and just using a dietary rule to justify how little you eat. Talk to your doctor. Whatever he says goes.

Just keep you're cool kiddo. Ignore them and respond politely to teachers and adults. Act mad when kids ask you, and respond "I'm just as anorexic as you." Or just give a weird answer that'll give them the hint not to tick you off.

Other suggestions include joining some clubs to increase you're popularity/get to know new people.

And, this might sound kind of weird, but maybe gain a little weight just to look a little better. you'll want a little fat on your skin to look normal.

Talk to your parents if you can about it.

Good luck!

The guy above me is dumb or should I say ignorant. Anorexia is when a person has a mental condition and refuses to eat. Usually brought on by the environment and/or peer pressure or media implying that all teenage girls should be extremely thin. e.g. Nicole Richie. As for people making fun of you don't let them bother you. You yourself know that you are not anorexic.

Good Luck Hun.

you probably do look rather skinny to them and in this day and age they are most likely jealous of you. i went through the same thing and i just told people that if i were anorexic i would be in hospital. they usually shut up after that cos they don't know enough about the disorder to argue. don't let this plague your life it is not important what other people say and think of you. and when adults get in on the act just tell them they don't know what they are talking about and mind their own business.

Ignore them. I'm super skinng and in high school and some people i know that they think i'm aneroxic. Its just that i can't gain weight even if I try. If someone asks you that just say you're a vegeterian and have a high-metabolism which is why you don't gain weight". Or give them an attitude and tell them to stop getting in your bussiness which is sometimes what a person has to do so they'll leave you alone.

Yeah i get that all the time. I just don't like eating. I don't want to be fat. I'm not even a vegetarian. I like being skinny whats the problem? As long as you like yourself and you feel healthy it's fine.

i used to get that all through school. You have to ignore it. If your anything like me you can eat what ever and still not put weight on. I tryed so hard to put weight on but unable to. So as long as you know you are not and eating right try to ignore. Its ahrd to do it but you have to.

Good luck
