If so,how and to what degree?There a lot of fathers who would be quite proud of their son if they were involved.I mean the fathers of todays kids probably lost their virginity at around 12-13. and who dident have a secret crush on their female teachers(not all of them)

Yea know this is nothing new, And I think we need to take a step back and look at how society has changed. Now anyone over the age of 40 knows that this was common practice in schools,at least it was in mine. I knew of one female and 2 male teachers that were having sex with students however there were other things going on too. Like the age people that got married at, It was not uncommon to see 14 and 15 year olds married. Now I'm not condoning any of this however I believe, that punishment should be given to send the message that the day and age of having sex with any minor is over. I also believe there is a difference between under age sex and a pedophile, I believe a pedophile has a major mental illness that has to be dealt with severely. As far as a boy getting lucky with a older women, I think it does no damage to the male, I never got a teacher however I did tag one of the neighbors wives I was 15 she was about 40. Best tip I ever got for mowing

Yes, they should be punished and they are. I can sort of understand a first year young female teacher and maybe a senior in high school, but she should have the good sense to wait until the boy has graduated and is off at college. However, the ones that get with young boys––that's just gross.

Boys are probably more likely to "consent", but a 12 or 13 year old isn't ready for the emotional side of things and barely ready for the physical. The same punishment should be given to all paedophiles.

Of course they should. Would you like your daughter to have sex with her male teacher? Better yet would you like your son to have sex with his MALE teacher? So what if they have fantasies? Girls do too. Those boys are underage. They cannot consent under the law. And the teacher is breaking her trust and abusing her position. There are predators everywhere and now we can't even send our children to school and feel safe!

Any teacher male or female found having sex with students should be fired and charged with sexual preying. They r put in a position of trust.

it is interesting that most of the female teachers caught with their students just cop the Love card and walk away with house arrest. Many just say " but we're in love" and the judge lets them go.Almost none of them apologise or show shame for their actions.

Yes, they should be punished. Statutory rape charges and loss of teaching certification. That is a violation of position and power.
