I have a 360 account, and I can see the picture, but I can't access it to use on YA. What is the deal?!?!

I have the same problem and got the same response when I e-mailed Yahoo. I think what people are failing to see is that it doesn't matter which picture is set as the primary on 360. When I try and edit my Answers profile all the avatar choices have buttons that are not clickable. The only button I can select says "no picture displayed". I'd be happy to trade that goofy orange box for access to avatars again.

Did you make sure you have it set to your "primary"? If you choose the "use my 360 picture" on the answers "edit my profile" part, it uses the primary from your 360.

Yahoo is doing upgrades. The last time most people lost avatars for a week.

there is a program you download to let you post your picture you should find it on your 360 page.

Thats been happening to alot of people. Looks like some hackers have gotten past the fire wall.
