Yes, if it means not telling anyone. I never knew my mother was clausterphobic until about 8 years ago when Dad was telling me how when he layed the carpet in one of the bedrooms he needed Mom's help. He wanted her to stand on one spot to hold it in place but he needed to close the door to do it. She wouldn't do it like that so Dad had to remove the door so she would.
