It's really disappointing showing up somewhere with glossy lips, and the moment u drink something it's gone?
It's also embarrassing putting gloss back on while you're speaking to people, in order to keep up. I don't want to be a slave to my make-up..How many girls have the same problem?

Sometimes I think it's my body chemistry. It seems some people can keep their gloss on forever, or maybe they're secretly touching up too, I don't know...? I had a work colleague who had her gloss on ,prim and proper the whole day. Is it my lips the problem?

Because the lips move so much, it's hard to get makeup to stay fresh and shiny on them. The best solution is to line your lips first with liner in a color that matches your natural lip hue. Don't try to draw on a shape that isn't there, just gently fill in your entire lip to give the gloss a base to cling to.

Another tip- before drinking, eating, or kissing, lick your lips. Your saliva creates a barrier between the glass, food, or other lips.

If it really bothers you, try Max Factor Outlast Lipstick. Although it IS a lipstick, it comes with a beautiful topcoat that makes it look like a gloss and stays on for 8 hours easily. Plus, when the topcoat starts to come off, you still have the color underneath.

Good luck! :)

I have the same problem. It is embarassing 'cause everybody's staring at you while you put ur 'gloss on. Try taking a poll at school and ask the girls what kind of lip gloss they were and if it stays on.

Beauty supply stores sell a color-changing lipstick that "stains" your lips. Green turns pink; yellow turns coral; blue turns red. I recommend putting this on first for semi-permanent color. Then your gloss. Ans then use a straw. It's so gross to see gloss on a glass!

Lol, I happen to love my lipgloss so I dont mind getting to put it on lots, I know what you mean about putting it on in front of people - just use more moisturizing types rather than shiny ones when you know you'll be eating or drinking as they stay on longer through those things than the purely glossy ones.

this sounds weird but works, if you take one coffee bean and grind it up into a powdery form, brush on lips beforehand and gloss literally stays on all day! oh and after it is grinded in a powdery form it does not smell or have a dark coloration, so don't worry about that! good luck!

put foundation on your lips and then lip gloss or lipstick and it will stay longer, hidrate your lips and give your lips a bit of colour.
