This has been something on my mind for a while? Why do we as women accept fat men? I wouldn't get asked on as many dates if I were a fat chick, so why are so many beautiful women acting like they can't get anything more than an obese guy? I'm not trying to be mean, but I just want to know. And why do fat guys think that they can ask any woman they want to out? I am not attracted to fat men, and they try me once in a while...Now, if a fat woman did the same, she would be shunned. What's up with all that?

Because, MOST women are not as shallow as men. We are interested in what's on the inside. I don't go out of my way looking for a fat guy but if I like someone, I really don't care what they look like. My husband is pretty heavy these days but I love him and still find him attractive. Yet, he tells me that he could never date a heavy woman. He says he just wouldn't be sexually attracted to her. I tell him he's shallow and he agrees. But that's how most men are...not all but most. Learn to look at people as if you are blind and you will be more likely to find a truely loving person.

some women have low self-esteem and they don't feel they deserve better. or in other cases, they don't wanna date a guy that will make them look bad, so they pick a guy that makes them feel thin. or in extreme situations, love does break physical boundaries.. over weight people are still human beings and many are sweet, kind loving souls.. sure, obesity is a sign that the person has either an eating disorder and/or some sort of mental issue.. but yah, i dated a girl who was huge but she was very confident and comfortable in her own skin, and she came across as being very sexy because of her attitude..

Just Jenn needs a reality check - everybody has some type of standards both physically and emotionally. It's not being shallow - it's being honest.
