Cattle sleep with their eyes closed- and they sleep both standing and laying down(horses can sleep laying down too.) People need to educate themselves before they start running off at the mouth.

No, cows sleep with their eyes closed. Cows also sleep lying down, which is a common mistake also. Here in Wisconsin, we sometimes hear the phrase "cow tipping" which is impossible. The reason it's impossible is because what it is, is people going out into fields at night and tipping over cows as they sleep. If they are sleeping, they're not standing so they can't be tipped! Now, horse tipping I could believe because horses do sleep standing up! :)

No, they do not. They are not terribly different from other pets.
And for those who think cows sleep standing up, please just answer questions that you know something about. Cows sleep laying down as do a great many horses.
