how do you write "bold", resize a font, and other things in HTML?

for example, centered font is < c e n t e r > without the spaces. Any help please??

but i confuse whether it would be / or \.
the size would be available in 1,2,3,4,5,6.

for bold: < b > and when you want to unbold < / b >
but take spaces out.
< font size = 8 > or whatever size you want. to change it back to normal just put < / font >
take spaces out of that one too except there IS a space between font and size. email me if you need more.
