when i was a child my home was a pile of fallen leaves

I'm 43 and why wouldn't I?
best one ever though was 3 yrs ago had a huge pile to burn, poured just a little too much gas on it, then had some business to take care of, came back 20 minutes later to light it but the gas had vaporized when i lit it, it sounded like a sonic boom, and i had flames shooting about 30 feet into the air, looked like a giant mushroom, i got lucky not a single burn on me
my sons were laughing their azzes off, so did I after i saw i didn't get hurt

After raking them up I took a flying leap on top of the pile. I didn't know I could jump as high as I actually did. I flew over the top of the pile, landing on my rear on the other side. Unfortunately my mom took my picture right as I hit the ground. I hate that picture!

Yes I did. Just a couple of months ago I had my daughter and three on my nieces playing in them also. I piled them up and also had the girls lay down in them and then I piled more on top of them so that all you could see was their faces......Those pictures were so cute.

yes all the time...now that i am grown with my children of my own i find that it is a fun way to connect with them by getting in the leaves with them to..last fall me and my kids enjoyed getting into the pile that my husband had just gathered up it was so much fun...looking forward to doing it again and this time with the new addition to our family!!!

I loved doing that. But, now I know there a spiders in there so I don't get near the pile. Back then it was a favorite thing to do.

YES i used to go up on this hill and there would be a 6inch pile of leaves.

yes i would make a large pile and jump off the roof of my house (trailer house poor people have poor ways) ahhh the good ole days
