you see so many people wearing fur and it makes me sad to know that people would actually support the murder of several animals just so they can be in fashion...

I know exactly how you feel. Wearing fur is so WRONG!!!!!!
Even if people make the argument "well how is it different from wearing leather shoes or eating meat?"
Well, I'm against all kinds of animal killing, but really, the meat logic is for sustenance, but the fur is just for fashion, and the brutal way in which the animals are slaughtered is sickening. Fur farmers don't even bother to really kill the poor little things before they skin them. Most are just in the process of dying and are made suffer their last moments without skin.
It isn't just the killing, it is the brutality in which they are killed, and for what? So that a few people can wear someone else's skin because their own isn't attractive enough without it!

Anymore, most of the fur being used in clothing is from animals raised for that purpose. And there is a trend in which dog fur is being used increasingly for fur trim on garments. Bob Barker tells you every day that there are too many unwanted dogs and cate - and to please spay and neuter your pets.
It's bad to wear fur or leather, but it's okay to wear pleather or vinyl or other synthetics that are made of petroleum products in factories that emit tons of pollutants that potentially kill lots more animals, in addition to people and plants.
It seems that animal rights activists are just a little hypocritical.

i hate people who use fur coats. They probably to think about others except themselves. I wish i could cut off their skin to let them know what animals go threw. It should be a law not to wear fur coats.

i never really thought about it. but i guess it is kind of cruel. i do remember that some people wear imitations. i dont understand it anyways, fur does not look good on people! to me is a very ugly garment.

I think everyone has the right to wear what they want. But I would really like to smack the hell out of people who do wear it.
