When I was on active duty there were no secrets. I don't know how a dumb rule like this can help the military or the service person. I say get rid of the policy and let people live the way they want.

Yes they should.. not because of a homosexuals inability to do the job required but for their protection from other soldiers. Military guys can be harsh, and some can be down right cruel. It is for their own protection.

Well that policy only applies to homo's so I think they should. It wouldnt matter because any typical male would spot a ******* in a heartbeat just by the way he acts.

No way. Even though I am a straight women I don't understand why homosexuals cant fight for our country. Does it really matter when your in a desert,and fighting off bombs and bullets if you like men or women.

yes because your sexual orientation has nothing to do with your job performance in the military that is a private matter and should be kept that way.
