She's always been mental, but she just got sane enough to realize it. So she checked herself in.

I am no physician, but the first thing that came to mind was PPD. After the birth of a baby it takes up to a year for hormones to return to normal (sometimes even longer). I can't even imagine having to have bad mommy moments while living in a fish bowl, but I would imagine that is a contributing factor as well.
If it were me - I would have a thyroid panel, see my OBGYN and talk about PPD.
The hair thing - I have felt like shaving my head so many times after bad color, bad bleach, and bad haircuts. On the bright side she won't have anymore bad hair days in the near future.

maybe shes just having a hard time right now, you know divorce, two babies back to back, shes just a child, we all have breakdowns, give her a break. just because shes a celeb, doesn't make her exempt to problems. and you throw drugs and alcohol in there, its a sure disaster. people should stop being so mean.
she is a human being. hope she gets the help she needs. and NO I am NOT a fan. just a person with morals

On second thought, I guess she is only making rounds of publicity for a planned comeback.

No, she's in rehab for drug and alcohol addiction.
She really rose to fame too quickly. She has too much money and keeps making mistakes that any girl could make in college. Unfortunately, she's not in college. Instead she's in the spotlight.

No work ethic, no grip on reality. Some musicians and stars actually have a grip on themselves and do not party all the time or get into drugs and such. i.e. Madonna
