I know how they're making fun of movies the whole time, but in the part where he says he wants her to meet his friend Andy who turns out to be a girl, what movie is that from. I know I've seen it before, I just can't remember which movie it's from and it's bugging me so bad. =[

It's supposed to be a spoof of the movie My Best Friend's Wedding. Julia Roberts was the guy's best friend and had what could be a man's name. In the movie she tries to stop her friends marriage in order to be with him herself.
Another seen in date movie that they spoofed from that same movie, is the dinner table scene where they break out into song.

I think that's the part my wife said was from My Best Friend's Wedding. Not completely sure because I didn't see that one.
