Marrying someone with children from someone else, whether they were legally married or not, does not give the current spouse any rights over a child from a previous union, legal or not. Not all fathers or mothers have "legal" guardianship over the children they have biologically fathered or mothered.

nope.

You still have to adopt the kids(even though you are married) to legally accept their guardianship.

This will require your married partner's consent and possibly the consent of the children's other parent I would imagine.
