It has Volume,Gain,Over Drive,Treble,Middle and Bass,I cant get it to sound right. If you could include the settings for that and possibly other iconic guitarists that would rock(Stevie Ray Vaughan,Kurt Cobain,Dimebag Darell,BB King,Angus Young etc...)I appreciate your help,Thanks.

i think first act is a walmart (el-cheap-o)kind of thing (just like my first amp). what i think you need to do is buy what is called a distortion pedal make sure you buy a 9 volt battery and an additional chord if you don't already have one. Stevie Ray and BB is different kind of tone then Dime, Angus and Kurt. Go to a music store and try out the pedals on an amp thats like yours -- personally I like BOSS brand - for Dime try the Metal Zone thats distortion . Angus is more overdrive, so is SRV and BB to some extent. To achieve Kurt's sound try buying the cheapest distortion or overdrive pedal and turnin the gain up really high and stand close to the amp while you play.

as for your amp try turning the gain up to 10, the middle 0, treble 5 -6 and the bass around 3

but to be honest dude some amps don't got it and the only way to really find out what sound you want is to fool around and play for hours upon hours. stomp boxes are alot of fun (just make sure you unplug the chords for the pedal or it will eat the battery everytime) ROCK ON!

Try this - first turn the volume all the way down, then turn the gain all the way up. Turn on the OverDrive. Now adjust the volume. The bass and treble can be set anywhere, but if the bass is all the way up and treble down, you should get a very mellow buzz sound (kinda like a Santana ballad). If the treble is all the way up and the bass all the way down, you should get a almost 'tinny, metalic' sound (more like a bright Jimi sound). If you still don't get a nice buzz tone, put a pillow in front of the speaker and turn the volume up. If your amp is digital it will be harder to do than if the amp was tube.

You're probably going to need some effects pedals to help. A lot of what you hear from the guitarists you mention comes from not only the guitar they play, but from an amp with way more than 15 watts. I've got a Marshall JCM900 dual reverb. That will make lots of noise. By the way, Stevie Ray Vaughn was known for cranking every knob on his amp up full. During a show he would walk back and just roll his hand across all the knobs.

try cranking up the overdrive and gain, if you actually have a seperate volume knob then keep that low. see which combination of settings (set them to 10) gets the most distorted . You're next option other than buying a better amp will be to pick up a distortion box, which you can always use on the most expensive amps. there a hundred of them out there.
