Im haveing a lot of troubles with the stupid blockes verizon puts on the razer v3 phone and its a big scam because they want you to pay for the music u buy from them, and i was wondering if anyone knew how to put music on my phone without having to pay 100ds of dollars to get software from them that allows me to put it on. If you could help me out with this i would be verry greatfull! (P.S. i already tried takeing my micro SD card and pluging it into an adapter and then into the comptur and putting music on that, then putting it back in my phone. but verizon just has blocks that doesnt let me see the files i put on it.)

I have a krzr, I am going to assume it is similar with either phone.

If you get a USB cable (one with one smaller end that fits into your phone) and the USB drivers for your phone. The drivers can be found online, on Motorola's website or with a Motorola usb driver tool.

If you break down and buy Verizon's VCast software (was only about $20 I think) it will include the drivers.

OK, now you plug the phone in and turn it on. On the phone itself you go into music and select "sync music". This should open a "removable harddrive" box on your pc. Select open folder to view files and there is an empty folder on your desktop (or if you have a few songs they will be there). Drag and drop the songs you have wherever on your desktop onto the new folder. You don't have to worry about copy/paste because it will just copy them anyway because it is a new harddrive.

Now if you use the VCast software you open it up instead of the other folder. It will let you add and sync songs onto your phone. Personally they format a little better with that software instead of the other way. But if you don't want to buy it.

There are also hacks to remove the software blocks Verizon puts on their phones. But if you hack your phone it voids the warranty. You will notice that you can't add ringtones or wallpapers to your phone that you don't buy from Verizon, because of their blocks.
