Is not that I don't love my family. I love my family greatly. I just love my gf more. We've only been dating 5 months and I asked her 1 month ago to marry me. I love her greatly. I guess it really doesn't matter that I love her more. I just don't know if thats normal for how little we've known eachother.

the bible says that when we marry we leave our family and cleave to our wife. I think your feelings are normal. nobody can drive you crazy like your family can.

It's normal. Your family is your constant, your home base, the place you can always come back to. But ultimately, our lives leave our core family and head into a different place, where we meet someone and make a brand new family. Your future is out there somewhere, with a gf or a wife you will build a new life together, and yes, it will become more important to you than anything else. That is supposed to be how it works.

This is actually kinda fast for you to start feeling this way about her already. I feel that you should get to know her better first and date for at least 6 months to a year to see how serious this is and make sure she is the right one for you life first before putting her above your family. JMHO. I love my husband more then my family BUT i am married and he is my husband and this is the way God wants the marriage to be BUT i still love and spend time with my family as well. If she in fact is the one for your life and becomes your finace then yes this is very normal as this is the way it is supposed to be. Good luck to you!

It is normal and you just love her in a different way that's all. You love your family with all your heart right but your honey you love her with all your heart and your head if you no what I mean.
