You need to take the battery off for a couple of days. And don't touch it. Just let it dry out completely. I looked up this URL for you. Yahoo news had an article about this ohhhh about a month ago and it was really thorough. Try to find that. It suggested dipping it in alcohol because the acohol would dry up water? Good luck. Don't try to use it until it's competely dry.

Autyum has a point, warranty's never cover what is likely to happen, like dropping the phone in water. A friend of mine who works in the cellphone business told me to try this. Get yourself some 99.995% pure isopropyl alcohol (NOT rubbing alcohol). Flush the phone with the alcohol, really soak it and set the phone on it's side to drain. You may need to do this two or three times. Let it dry completely. This doesn't always work but more often then not this will bring a dead phone back to life.
You can usually pick up Isopropal at a local electronic supply store. Sometimes you can get it at the drug store, but (at least here in Canada) they make you fill out a form giving your name and address (to stop you from using it for illicit drug manufactureing.)
Best of luck

Hun, I was a tech support rep for T-mobile for 5 years. I know my stuff here. If your sim works in another phone, but says no network when you put the sim in the one you got wet...unfortunately, the one you got wet is now defective. Since you got it wet, if the phone was still under warranty, it is void now. One last try on your defective phone...put the sim in and try a network selection. This should be in the menu of your cell. If the phone still finds no network, it is more proof the phone has gone boots up. Sorry my answer wasn't better news.
