We received ours the next day after we filed. We e-filed and got a rapid refund. If you just sent yours in the mail, it will take anywhere from 4-6 weeks. If you are having them drop your refund into a bank account, after e-filing, it shouldn't take more than 2 weeks. Now, if you have an off-set, such as, you owe the government money, child support (you or your husband), student loans, etc. the refund will be held up for maybe several months.

I think it depends on your state as well. I sent mine in in the middle of February and got both of mine back before March 1.
So about three weeks. Usually your state check will come before the federal but the federal money should follow soon after. I hope this helps!

I purely referred to as the IRS if the two names of the joint Federal Refund is on the examine and in basic terms a million call is on the checking account it is going to be rejected via the monetary business enterprise and a IRS will difficulty a examine as a replace. I even have contacted our monetary business enterprise and this is right. fantastically whether it somewhat is not a joint account. My estranged husband agreed to furnish me 0.5 of our tax refund and now he's refusing to accomplish that. So his checking account has been flaged and it is going to be lower back to IRS. it is going to take 3 to six weeks to get the paper examine.

If you go into Jackson Hewit and do your taxes, you can have your $ by the next day... you have to pay about $150 or so, though. So, unless you got a really big refund, it's not worth it. Otherwise, you might have to wait for as long as 14 weeks.

It depends on how you filed. We filed on line and it took maybe 2 weeks to get ours back. You can check the status of your refund when you do it on line, not sure if you can do it with snail mail filing.
