Im 16 yrs old and i had my first gyno appointment today. i have never been to one before so im not sure if this is normal stuff that happens there or not. im so embarrassed and i cant stop crying. im sorry if this is too graphic...

when he (my gyno) was doing my breast test he rubbed my nipples to make them hard. my friend said that at her appointments her doctor wears gloves but mine never did. when he was down at my crotch he didnt have them on either. he rubbed my cli toris too and my friend said that is not normal at all. he also kept saying stuff about my pubic hair and said "wow you can tell ur a virgin!" he also kept putting his two fingers in me and would just leave them there.
my friend also said that there should have been a lady nurse in the room but there wasnt. im so embarrassed and i dont want to go back there.

what should i do? is this normal stuff that happens at these appointments? plz help. thank you.

None of this is normal or ok!! This person took advantage of you and it needs to be reported!! You need to protect yourself and others from this predator! Those comments were completely unprofessional and uncalled for! Your friend is 100% correct that there should have been a female nurse in the room. If not a nurse, someone that you were comfortable having there! I have 2 daughters and if this ever happened to them.....Well, lets just say my husband had better get there before I do or he needs to have bail money handy!! Do not be afraid, REPORT THIS ABUSE NOW!!

some coverage firms do no longer conceal seeing a fertility professional. ive had all my fertility tests achieved by skill of my obgyn. they won't could seem at your ovaries because of the fact the bloodwork could have proved already which you're ovulating. have they arrive to any conlcusions in any respect? my situation is that i do no longer ovulate on my own so i visit be taking clomid lower back to have yet another newborn. it in basic terms took some blood tests and a few temp. charting on my area. stable success!

Have you asked this question before? Because I swear I saw it a couple of months ago. If this is real, call the people at RAINN and tell them about it. www.rainn.org.
