Sanjaya is a very nice looking young man, but as a singer, he just does not have what it takes, at this stage in his life.
I feel badly that everyone on American Idol (Randy, Paula & Simon) were speaking out about Sanjaya as if he wasn't there, when it was announced that he, not Sundance (Jason) Head, was going to be in the Top 12. I felt a slight bit better when Paula seemed to realize how Sanjaya must have been feeling. At least she congratulated Sanjaya for going on to be in the Top 12. It's certainly NOT Sanjaya's fault that people are voting him along week after week. Deep down, I'm sure that Sanjaya knows that he should have been voted off two weeks in a row. Hopefully their distainful comments on American Idol will not scar him emotionally for the rest of the his life.

I wonder why people who tryout think they are so good?
I guess it is because a lot of people are tonedeaf. There are some people in the finals that can not sing in tune. But you all keep voting for them.
That kid is not good compared to the rest of the people. Voice is weak and tuning not so great. No one would buy a record by him.

I think Sanjaya is cute, his smile is beautiful but he isn't the best singer. I think that Melinda or Lakisha will win.

I like him. He's so cute & his voice is pretty good when he picks the right song. I kinda feel bad tho- websites like VoteForTheWorst.com are making him a joke.

I have to disagree. Cute doesn't equal singing ability. He hasn't any singing ability. Come on teenagers, listen to him sing. I'm glad you are happy.
