I have plenty of time to think babout it. I don't know if it is a boy or a girl yet though.

Well, for us, the requirements for a name were:
1. You could tell the sex of the child by the name
2. A stranger would be able to pronounce the name correctly when seeing it written down
3. People wouldn't misspell the name when being verbally told it

For me, this meant a lot of traditional names. I also like Biblical names for boys, not as much for girls. Gabriel and Levi are my favorites.

Hope you like some of those. Also, if you're having trouble, try taking your husband's name, your name, and important family members such as grandparents and working with them. Combine them to create a new (but not weird, you don't want your child to have to deal with a bad name all their life) name. My middle name is Lorae, made up of a grandma Loretta, grandma's middle name Loree and a grandpa Raymond so try tweaking names and maybe your husband will agree with a meaningful family name. Congrats :]

Hello, I have kids myself..and to pick out a name is very difficult yes. I loooved this name for my daughter and of course my sons name was going to be my fathers name. I had that already set in my head before even having babies. But my husband didn't like the name I really super liked-so we agreed upon a different name for a girl and her middle name was the name i loved. And it sounded pleasing as well.
It just made sense and now that she is almost 4 her name fits her perfect.
