Their rep told us we would not incur an obligation if we got one of their dvr's. So we got it, knowing we were changing companies when we moved. They billed us for it and we had to pay. I complained, in writing, to them, but they wrote back and said too bad, we had to pay, even though the entire "contract" was verbal.

My senator's office said I should complain to the FCC, but the complaint form on their website only addresses telephone complaints. The FTC's website isn't any more helpful. I can't find a phone number on either site, so I can't call for more information.

Can anyone help?

To Brian G: Read my post: their rep told us we would not incur an obligation! I am not defrauding them; they trapped us into an obligation by lying to us. Big difference!

First be very careful and evaluation whose fault it particularly replaced into. Dont forget approximately that medical well-being coverage firms in assessment to residing house or motor vehicle at the instant are not controlled by skill of the brokers subsequently it may't be the brokers fault in any respect. brokers in many situations are in basic terms a third occasion and in case you think of that maybe there replaced into miscommunication then take it up with the agent first. As for reporting them, counting on coverage agency they symbolize, you could ***** to their district supervisor first, or call company places of work.

I moved. I sent back everything. I was billed again. I wrote to them. They said OK..then they billed me again..later three months later..I received a letter that I was to call an agent because they could take me to court. When I called they wouldn't let my relative ask them anything. He yelled at them. I called and they said OH that ..don't answer that..
Before I moved they wanted me to go up onto a ladder to get something off the satelite. UNBELIEVABLE..
I had WORSE treatment trying to get rid of my cell phone..finally I did!! I couldn't find a phone number to even call them. I had to email them. They did call me..I told them I couldn't believe they would bill me after I told them things in my life had changed. They asked personal questions too!!
We told them we would go to the Better Business Bureau..and that shut them up~~

Refresh my memory, what was your complaint again? That you weren't allowed to defraud them by taking their DVR and then moving and cancelling their service?

Call the BBB. And if it doesn't work, just quit with them. It isn't worth the hassle.
