You will need to get rid of the standard, the bell housing, and clutch and its linkage. The auto will bolt on to the block, but you will need to change the mount, add cooling lines, change the radiator, and either have your drive shaft customized or get the right one possibly from a junkyard. If the auto is electronic, you'll need the control computer, and in any case shift linkage or a cable, and the kick down whether it is electronic or mechanical. You may have to modify exhaust, and will have to find a vacuum source and bolt the fill tube in. Then there are still the little details like speedometer and different engine timing settings to consider. Can be done, not really all that difficult, but lots to get right to have it work well. No clue about cost because it is the kind of thing I do myself. Unless you have something else to drive, you really want to have everything figured out and on hand before you start. Kind of a bear to go to a junkyard and get a radiator then take it home on a bus, ya know.

Too much, and how much depends heavily on the trans/truck used. If it's an electronically shifted transmission you'll have to install the PCM and associated wiring. Then the linkage, probably axles, mounts, and dozens of other components. You'll save money selling yours and buying an auto.

Don't do it, it is not worth the effort or expense, there is so much to do, not only with the transmission, the brake peddle would need to be changed, the brakes will need to be uprated the clutch peddle would need to be taken out and when all this is done your insurance would be considerably more expensive, if this is a classic car then its value would be less because its not a genuine adaption. Trade it in for an automatic or drive it as it is.

If this truck is not a classic or a custom save your self the trouble and just trade it in for the auto.
