Don't worry about overdressing. As long as you're showing up in business appropriate attire, and not your prom dress or a tux, it'll look professional and competent. What always works for me is a knee-length dress skirt or nice pants and a button-down shirt with nice heels and my hair up. Guys have it a bit easier. Wear dress pants (black or dark grey looks dressier) and a nice button down shirt. Ties are always good. Always iron everything, and boys should tuck.
The trick is to look professional. It doesn't matter that you'll be wearing khakis and a polo if you get the job. Professional-looking equals responsible and competent.

Is this for Starbucks corporate or their stores? Either way, I woud recommend dressing in a suit - either pants or a skirt(past the knee), career type blouse with a blazer. Starbucks is a great company to work for. Good luck!

go to a Starbucks and see what the workers wear. Then go to a costume place if you have to and get the same or very similar attire. Go to the Starbucks job fair and walk confidently up to the first Starbucks recruiter you meet and say: "When do I start!?"

Just wear an elegant, classy suit, you dont have to go bizarre, expensive, and fancy. Put ur hair up in a cute, formal bun. Wear nice heels too, and watch what u say but make sure u mean it too.
