No. I actually have a father that I know but was not really involved my life (and when he did, he caused major trouble). If the father doesn't want to stick around, I say "Peace out". Just be willing to accept the consequences. That means no blaming your missing papa for getting fired or getting arrested. You can't control the past, but you can control the future.

What is a bastard child? I believe a bastard child is the same as illegitimate one-when the parents are unmarried.
Many of our children, including myself are born of unmarried parents. Some of us do not know who our fathers are. I know mine, but he is not a big part of my life, but I am glad I know him.

I don't know anything about my parent's relatives. I don't feel like a bastard, just feeling duped cuz I could be royalty or something!

a bastard child is one who was born outside of marriage...i know this for a fact, cuz im one, my daughter is one, and so is her mom...we're one big bastard family.....it has nothin to do with the fact that your dad left

why must we use the ' bastard ' label to them, its so un nice.
