Did you know that our "friends" in Saudi Arabia have sentenced a raped woman to be whipped 90 times for the "crime" of being alone with a man she was not related to?
What do you think of their culture, ladies?

For those who raise the point of Priest scandals --- this is their LAW, the families of these women will often stone them out of shame. When WE find people behaving this way there is outcry from our people. For THESE people, it is considered correct and just punishment.

1) Islam (mainstream) considers their holy texts utterly true and without fault or error.
2) This is 95% of the population, not a fringe group, not extremists.
3) I encourage people to read these quotes IN CONTEXT by reading pre-9/11 translations of the same texts (free online). DON'T just believe me. I'm not even saying anything myself.
4) Read what Allah and his Prophet say about women, and remember that they believe this is literally true.
5) Ask one to deny the truth of any one of these. See how many will do it on their word as a member of Islam and servant of Allah.

Not one will if you tell them the source it comes from unless they are one of the few who are trying to start the revolution that will bring Islam into the 21st century (YEAH!).

Please don't relate islam to the Saudi's. Their royal family accepts to abide by the islam dictated by very radical muslims called Wahhabies. This results in some really stupid laws, e.g. someone told me when I was in Saudi Arabia that somebody who steals a radio from a car will have his hand cut but might legally be considered innocent for stealing a whole car.
