I agree! That guy needs to go. He acts like he does not give a care to play as a team. He refuses to recognize who the captain of the team, that being Kobe Bryant. When you refuse to contribute to your team your playing for, then you do not need to be a part of that team anymore for being selfish. The Lakers need someone in the center position who cares about the value of team work and is dedicated to helping their team out. Most games are never won with just one player scoring. They are won as a team with very good defense and very offense. I hope that helps! I hope the Lakers have better luck with their next games to come.

Yeah, that was pretty sad. The thing is though, that happens a lot! I don't know if this kid has as much upside as the Lakers thinks he does. They should push to get a deal together for either one or two players this off season. Number 1) Kevin Garnett and 2) Andre Igoudala. They should go after Garnett for obvious reasons, and if you watched the game tonight I think Igoudala mirrors Scottie Pippen. With the exception of him being a few inches shorter I think Igoudala is just as good a defender, scorer, and ball handler that Pippen was. Also notice that whenever the Lakers play the 76ers Kobe struggles big time. Why? Because Igoudala is one of the few players in this league that can put the clamps on Kobe for long stretchers of a game. The combination of Odom, Igoudala, and Bryant would be extremely versatile and a match up nightmare! Odom would continue to blow by slower 4's, Igoudala could be your primary ball handler and perimeter defender at the 3, and Bryant can relax and do what he does best, score! Forget Bynum, I doubt he's a future 20 and 10 guy anyway.

Centers are one of those positions that can't be easily filled and are mostly taken care of through the draft. The Lakers used their pick to help that spot in Bynum. He's a bit raw right now which would explain the lack of contributions considering he did come straight out of high school. The Lakers really do vision him as their future middle man, and although it may be frustrating to see him try to learn the game when they are hot in the middle of a playoff run, its a good investment altogether. Kwame Brown will not be the answer later on and Chris Mimh is obviously injured so Bynum is what they see and believe in.

You must not know to much about basketball. He is barely 20. 19. 18. I forget. He's young. Didn't play college. Fresh out of high school. Completly Raw. He has been improving under the guidance of Kareem. I hope you know who this is. And this man is Big. 7 foot. He will dominate soon I hope. But there is no way or reason indicated to get rid of him. Did you see when Shaq showed him up. This guy's determined. P.S. You stink.

This is becos he is young, 7 foot, 285 pounds and have great potential. He should not be a starting center at the moment but they got no one big enough at center at the moment. I won't trade him if I am the owner of Lakers.

Let's see how many points you can score in 32 minutes in an NBA game. Chill out. The Lakers still see more potential in Andrew Bynum. That's why they won't trade him.

They can't get rid off him, who would play? With all the injuries on that team, they can't afford to get rid off him.

Also, he's young, so he'll pass to Kobe. Thats all the Lakers offense is, pass to Kobe, and hope he makes it.
