No, God is God! He is the creator of the Universe and the creator of mankind. The Bible is real, The Bible is Truth. The Bible states that man was created by a loving God. My whole life changed when I came to God. He is real, ask Him and He will reveal Himself to you. The Bible states that man fell due to Eve and Adam eating the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Sin entered into the world. God loved the world so much that he sent his only begotten Son to become a sacrifice to atone for the sins of men. The Bible states that if we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved. Believing on Him means that we believe that his blood is the payment that God the Father requires for our sin. We did not have to pay for our own sin. We deserve to die eternally (spiritual death) because of Adam's sin which was passed down to all men. BUT God who created us and loved us, did not leave us in a state of spiritual death, without a way to live eternally with Him. So since sin cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven, God sent Jesus to die for us, so that if we believe in Him, and his death on the cross as the payment that God requires, then just by believing, our sins are forgiven and we are given eternal life! It's very simple and it's a free gift. Just go to the Lord and admit, agree with God that you are a sinner and ask Christ to save you from your sins. Ask him into your life and to give you eternal life. Then start reading the Bible. When you ask Christ into your life you receive the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit reveals to you that the Bible is true and the Holy Spirit witnesses to you and teaches you the things of God. Yes God is real, I have experienced Him. If I had experienced how to stay young forever or to become very wealthy and told you, you would try it, just to see if it was true. I have experienced it and have a personal relationship with God. The Bible is real. There is an afterlife. If you were to die tonight, where would you spend your eternity? It's true and I am a witness of it. I am encouraging you to try it and find out for yourself. You have a soul that will live on forever, the decision is yours where you are going to spend your eternity. There is a lot at stake, it's the most important decision you will ever make in your entire life. The Bible is 66 different books written by different men. For thousands of years men have been trying to discredit it, but they cannot, it was written by men inspired by God. It is truth! Jesus Christ is real and alive and seated in heaven and waiting for you to call on His name! I have no fear of death because I know I am going to be with the Lord when I die. I encourage you to call on Him!

I believe that the version where God will provide eternal life for those that worship and adhere to certain behaviour is fabricated for the purpose of control and manipulation. Many ancient cultures have versions of Gods and greater beings but not all have the promise of eternal life through subjugation. The promise of an afterlife is very alluring and so many churches have become mega rich from somehow convincing their followers that there is a connection to giving generously to the church and one's salvation. Or maybe its just a coincidence that religions promising eternal life are also the affluent ones.
