Arranged marriages is one of those concepts I just dont understand. I mean the whole basis of marriage is love, so the 2 words just dont go together. Marriage should be all about LOVE.

I want to feel what it is like to marry the person that I am head over heals for. I dated a guy that was going to have an arranged marriage at a certain age and it scared him but he knew that was tradition and that is what was going to be done. It sure made our relationship hard when we really fell in love with eachother and I wasn't even aloud in he and his parents home because I am American. That lead me to the conculision of why in the heck are you in America if we are such bad people?? It made me feel like there was something worng with me. What was funny is his siblings, cousins, and so on were all dating someone out of their nationallity. Sad part was their parents had no idea. Basically they are teaching their children how to hide stuff from them and how to be very sneaky people. To each his own I guess!

I believe in love marriages only. Arranged marriage is not good at all. You should choose who you fall in love with and choose to marry. It should not be chosen for you!

marriages requires three things for success
(1) Be and meet someone responsible
(2) Don't be selfish and find someone that is not (Giving)
(3) Must be attracted --
This is the part we call -- love by itself is stupid, Hell I'm attracted to the internet. Arranged forgets that we need to feel attracted in the end but do tend to cover the first two items better then a young adult.

Arranged marriages sound so awful to people in this country, but figures indicate that countries with arranged marriages seem to have a lower divorce rate. I have talked to some who had arranged marriages and they say they to came to love the person. Dunno, I could not do it but some swear by it. A yenta knows her business and makes good arrangements.

dear... there is nothing in this world called love or arranged marriage
MARRIAGE is a strong word itself.........sounds good when not mixed with anything
well!! it happens so that love marriage ends with a divorce and arranged marraige lives a loooooooooooooong life
so why bother which one is the best??
wanna get married ?? just get married.......its marriage afterall never mind love or arranged
